Sigma Nu

_D5C2217

Originally founded and known to this day as The Legion of Honor, Sigma Nu is the only social fraternity in existence founded in firm opposition to hazing and based on the principle of Honor.

Sigma Nu also strives to develop leadership skills applicable to the world outside of college. Sigma Nu is able to do this by providing the training and hands-on experience necessary to understand leadership. When members of Sigma Nu graduate they are armed with confidence and skills to be successful in any organization. You learn skills that cannot be taught in the classroom.

Sigma Nu, above all, is a brotherhood. The friendships and memories we form here last a lifetime. Fraternity, for us, is all about supporting one another, and working together to build a powerful collegiate experience. Our brothers are highly involved on campus, holding active roles in multiple clubs, including Firebirds, Hockey Club, SAGE and IM Sports, and we also hold one of the highest average fraternal GPAs. Our house, located off campus in Flushing and sitting on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the Flint River, is the largest and newest fraternity house at Kettering. We have a very active alumni presence, showing the strength of our brotherhood and community. Sigma Nu is not just 4 years, it’s for life.
