Kettering students and staff participated in a University Avenue Corridor Community Cleanup on March 9.
The group worked with the Carriage Town Glendale Hills and Mott Park neighborhood associations, as well as Carriage Town Ministries, Flint River Watershed Coalition, General Motors employees and other area agencies.
The 85 volunteers collected more than 100 bags of debris.
The next cleanup will be in conjunction with Stewardship Day on Saturday, April 24.
