Power Outage Set For March 28

An electrical shut down for the entire campus is scheduled for 7 a.m., Sunday, March 28. 

The shutdown will impact primary buildings on campus (Academic Building, Campus Center, Mott Center, Thompson Hall and the Rec Center). It will last between eight and 10 hours. During this time, there will be limited to no lighting, no heat and no network, including wireless or phone service, which also includes voicemail.

Perimeter door access will be limited to the front entrance of the Campus Center. If you must access one of the impacted areas, check in at the Campus Safety Service Center and an officer will escort you.

Einstein Bros., the Innovation Center, Harris Mobility Research Annex, Grounds Garage and Campus Village will be excluded from the outage.

A second electrical shutdown will be May 1. Additional details will be provided in the weeks prior to the outage.
