The National Society of Black Engineers welcomes alumni speaker Jonathan Blanchard (’16), Founder & Chief Executive Officer of STEMLETICS from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 10, in Room A (fourth floor of Campus Center).
Blanchard, who was born and raised in Flint, graduated Salutatorian of his class from the International Academy of Flint in 2011. After high school, Blanchard studied Electrical Engineering Kettering for two years before changing his major to Business Administration. It was after this transition that he knew he wanted to work with youth in education.
During Blanchard’s senior year at Kettering, he developed the idea for the STEMLETICS program and took on the business full time. Since then, STEMLETICS has helped more than 450 Genesee County students learn more about various STEM concepts through engaging curriculum.
