Free coffee and doughnuts will be available at 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 and this Friday, Dec. 17 outside of the library.
The Wellness Center is accepting contributions for the 50-year time capsule, which will be stored in the wall of the Learning Commons.
Items to consider for the time capsule include, photos of campus, the local area or fraternity/sorority class photos, current event newspaper clippings, fashion advertisements, media expressions, Kettering memorabilia or pictures of gas prices. Think outside of the box to make this fun and educational for future Kettering students.
Contributions can be dropped off at the Wellness Center on the first floor of the Campus Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Becky Ibbotson, Assistant Registrar, is retiring Dec. 31.
She started at Kettering part-time in 1998 and moved to full-time in 2002. Her contributions to the Registrar’s Office — and the University overall — are extraordinary, particularly her commitment to the annual Commencement ceremony.
Becky will be greatly missed by all of those fortunate enough to work with her every day. We wish her the very best in her retirement. Feel free to stop by the Registrar’s Office to wish Becky well!
